A great concert combining the Arcadians' Lamplighters Male Choir and the wonderful talents of Wollongong Harmony Chorus who will be representing the Illawarra in National Competition in Hobart during May. They will perform their competition songs in this concert at Woonona/Bulli RSL Club on Sunday afternoon April 5 at 2:00pm. Tickets are available from the Arcadians' Box Office on (02) 4284 8348.

Sun 7th June at 2pm Corrimal Bowling Club Concert

The Corrimal Bowling Club performance is another of our popular fundraisers when the Lamplighters Male Choir will present a variety of entertaining and well known numbers from their growing repertoire, supported by talented young Arcadian Hannah Rodwell.

The Arcadians' Lamplighters Male Choir

The Arcadians' Lamplighters Male Choir are the ‘youngest’ arm of the Arcadians but as they are all retired they are also the ‘oldest’. From formation in 1999 they are now 60 strong with a growing reputation for their entertainment value and the quality of their sound.

Tenth Anniversary Celebrations

Over 2009 the Arcadians Lamplighters will be celebrating our tenth anniversary and this means some very special events. The first highlight:

Light Up With Harmony - Sunday 5th April at 2pm

We are planning a second major Concert, an Anniversary Dinner and, hopefully, a Concert Tour. The Lamplighters already have bookings for 11 appearances over 2009 for local community groups and are working on some exciting new arrangements. This promises to be a memorable year for the choir and its supporters.
